Rite to Freedom 2022 Recovery Festival

We are excited to be hosting a series of special events and retreats in January, February and March 2022. The focus will be on supporting those in addiction recovery impacted by the pandemic this winter.

Saturday 22nd January, 11am-4pm

Online Experience Day

Exploring the three pillars of nature connection, creativity and mindfulness with time together online and away from the screen. A nourishing, fun day to connect, get support and find out more about the festival and our work.

4th - 6th February

Online Recovery Retreat

A weekend long experience, led by people with many decades of combined recovery. It is a journey into how creativity, nature connection, and mindfulness can support a vibrant and life-long recovery from addiction.

Tuesday 15th February, 7-8.30pm

Multi Addictions Recovery Meeting

The start of a new series of open online meetings supporting the whole of the addiction recovery community. These meetings are open to those who have been clean for at least 3 months.

26th - 27th February

Recovery Conversations Weekend

Each day we will have very special guest speakers exploring nature connection, creativity and mindfulness, with a Saturday evening spoken word and music cabaret. You’ll be able to sign up for free. Speakers to be announced very soon.

More festival events will be announced in January.

Bookings will open in the middle of January. Check back here, or email jo@ritetofreedom.org.uk to express your interest.

For those unable to join online events due to lack of equipment, there will be some support available with free computer and internet access - first come first served. There will also be a free competition entry to win one of 4 refurbished laptops at the end of the festival.

This festival is supported by Devon Communities Together.
