Rite to Freedom Home Turf Days Coordinator

I was encouraged by a friends who went to Rite to Freedom to check it out as they said I’d love it , I went on my first residential in 2018.

Since then have staffed residential’s attended the Creative Pathways Residential and have helped to organise Home Turf Days.

One of the major breakthroughs I’ve had at Rite to freedom has been building my confidence talking in a group setting, now I don’t want to run and can talk openly in a group (miracle) I’ve met some amazing people who have held space and made me feel very safe to grow and look at my edges.

Also the work with Nature connection is a biggy for me 😊

My personal Journey at the Creative Pathways Residential I went with an open mind and a willingness to allow what ever came up and to go with that . Over the weekend emotions came to the surface with little nuggets around my edges and I really embraced the time and space to observe those and felt held and safe.

During my time out on the moor I found a stick which felt and looked like a magicians staff, I connected with it.

I felt warrior energy whilst walking with the stick out on the moors alone exploring.

I decided to decorate my walking stick I found , to make it look more warrior like as i described walking with it on the moors , it felt like a protector and to balance me whilst I walked on the edge which was me pushing my edges and protection whilst walking through the dark woods.

And also I wanted to spend the creative time working with paints and wool.

My Staff is now in my garden which reminds me of the beautiful mystical time I had on the moors that weekend learning some more about my shadows strengths and Edges.
